It's taken a lot to bring this documentary together, and we've certainly had a lot of help!
Most of the time we don't even ask, you just know we need you. Your helping hands make you our heroes, and while not all heroes wear capes, they definitely have initiative! In our last blast, Terrificon was looming on the horizon!
Although it may be just another Comic-Con to you... oh wait... we can't say that anymore... actually, we can't afford to say that.... hang on...
Pumpkins were carved, leaves fell, thanks were given, and you're probably wondering where the hell we've been?
Well, stuff did happen, but it was amid Jackie working on back to back movie features & Keith manning a big freelance job, so the update squad faceplanted.
Aside from the verbal barrage you'll be hit with in moments, we also have videos! YES, plural! Remember when news broke about Charlton's triumphant return to comic book shops? (Read our blog post about it her
Just in time for a snow storm, our crew trudged forward on our quest to complete the shooting of the movie by hopping on a plane and heading to the hot and humid state of Florida. Keith, Jackie and Jude trekked down with a total of 17 pieces of luggage filled with gear, t-shirts, shorts and flip flops to shoot interviews with E-Man co-creator Nicola "Nick" Cuti and a formal full sit down interview with Tony Stark himself, Bob Layton. On a bitter sub-zero Saturday, February 13, Keith & Jackie set out as a skeleton crew of two with an SUV packed to the gills with equipment to interview Gary McInnis for the movie. Who's Gary McInnis you ask? Well, scour comicbookdb, WikiPedia and every other resource online and you'll not find a thing about Gary. So who is this guy and how did we find him? He found us. Gary was attending the TerrifiCON (then CT ComiCONN) at Mohegan Sun this past August and he stopped to
The weekend of July 17th brought the crew to Saugerties, NY to spend an amazing and fantastic four (nerd joke inserted) hours with 2013 Eisner Hall of Famer and the man who many consider to be the best inker of all time: Mr. Joe Sinnott. Just one look at this man's amazing list of credits and there can be no argument. Aside from being an inker, Mr. Sinnott is an incredible penciler and writer as well and is still doing work on the daily Marvel Spider-Man newspaper strips to
